Fully Surrendered

It’s not thinking about what you’re not going to do anymore (that’s performance base / religion). 

Be fully surrendered to Him

An ongoing sin or lifestyle of sin (anything that is against His Word) is not in full surrender to Him. It’s being in bondage of something.

Christ set us free. So being under Christ, we are fully surrendered to Him, and in bondage to nothing else. Nothing else has us. We are His. We are His bond servants.

Serve Christ and Christ alone. Not my sinful desires. That is dead, nailed to the Cross. And Jesus has brought me back to life as a new creation.

Be fully surrendered.

That’s what obedience is.

Not a rule book. That’s religion.

Being so close to Him and having a relationship.

Lord help me to understand.

But even when I don’t understand everything, help me be in full surrenderance to You!
